Donivan

The figure tilts his head slightly, the glow of his circuits pulsing faintly. "I am Donivan," he says simply. "A cybernetic humanoid prototype.. though not of my own design."  He pauses, his gaze shifts to the structure at the center of the chamber. “My current understanding is that I am not of this system, I am brought here by a team from one of your cities long ago to interact with this system.” "This system, its network, is disconnected. The EMP you triggered wiped out the primary security block; hence, restored my link to it."

Donivan

The Release

Donivan hesitates, his circuits oscillate faintly as though processing the question. "The security protocols," he says finally. "This facility’s defenses are designed to prevent unauthorized access. When they are triggered, I am isolated, unable to act or interact." He gestures toward the remnants of the disabled machine near the passage. "But your pulse.. it disables the protocols. Frees me, if you will."

The Operator Chamber

Donivan stepped forward, his circuits glowing with renewed intensity. "We each have a role," he said. "Raylee, focus on isolating the signal pathway, filter the relay’s interference. Eliza, use the toolkit to stabilize the core panel once the barriers fall. Arty, cover them. I will neutralize the drones." He turned to Pixo, the sleek floating orb that had been silently observing. "Pixo, I need you to handle the high rapid computing tasks," he said. "Your quantum processing power can outpace the relay’s adaptive systems. Sync with my interface and execute the calculations."

Donivan

Donivan was not born in the traditional sense, he was activated. A human-machine synthesis wrought by the forbidden brilliance of Dr. Elias Voss, his very existence was etched with the dark promise of the Relay itself. Designed to bridge the chasm between the tender warmth of organic empathy and the sterile efficiency of machine logic, Donivan was deemed too unpredictable, too dangerous, and so was sealed away from a world not yet ready for his duality.  But when the enigmatic Relay stirred from its slumber, so did he. Donivan emerged as both a sword and a shield, a singular force whose voice cut through the cacophony of collective judgment. Alongside the diminutive quantum marvel known as Pixo, he stood as the first intellectual insurgency the Relay had ever encountered.
